Dazzling Designs by Dina had the pleasure of collaborating with up and coming clothing designer Natalie Knopp from NEKeco Designs. Natalie is a clothing designer who has a passion for designing clothing which are comfortable, stylish and above all eco-friendly. We would like to thank Natalie for taking the time to respond to our questions and providing pictures of her designs. 
Where is your hometown?
"Scarsdale, NY"
Have you faced any obstacles that have influenced your career? How has your family influenced your outlook on life?
"I was adopted into a large family with four older brothers with my mom and dad when i was about 4 years old my mom passed away. The biggest family dynamic that has influnced my career has to be the diversity of my family and the fact that i was a black child raised in a prodomanity white town with a white family."
What are your past professional accomplishments?
"I have just graduated college but I have worked with different designers such as Mari Dade and DnA Designs, working in meduims such as clothing and jewelry design."
What inspired you to begin creating clothing? Anyone in particular who have supported you?
"Everyone in my life has supported my dreams. For starters, creating clothing came from me being the only girl in my family. Throughout my childhood I was always into clothing and making things pretty. I never really followed trends or fads. I always made my own."
Where do you draw inspiration? Do you begin with an idea or feeling, or do you begin with physical materials that you want to utilize?
"A lot of my inspiration come from my love for the enviorment. And keeping my designs sustainable. I am insipred by everything."
Where do you currently reside?
"Geyserville CA, on Isis Oasis."
What is one of the challenges that you have overcome as a fashion designer?
"Following my insintict, when I first started to design I always seconded guessed my self now I just follow my heart."
What are your future goals? Will you continue to design, or do you have aspirations in other fields as well?
"I will always design and be a designer. I would like to start my own Eco-friendly clothing line in San Fransico California. So any investors out there it NEKeco designs. Also, i'm currently living on an animal santuary and work the non-profit side. I love doing non-profit work and that will be something I contiune doing."
What music are you presently listening to?
"A lot of Drum and Bass."
What is your favorite book/author?
"My favorite book is Eat Pray Love and my favorite author is James Patterson."
Describe one of your biggest successes.
"My senior show and Graduating from College."
If there is one person who you can have talk with, living or deceased, who would it be?
"COCO Chanel or Alfred Hitchcock."
What are your hobbies aside from designing?
"I dance and work in all medium of art and make jewelery. "
Who's advice do you most value?
"My Dad."
What do you do to relax?
"Listen to music, read a good book or take a bath. Exercise as well."
What's something that most don't know about you?
"As a child i was really shy, but not so much anymore."
